Gum Arabic is a versatile hydrocolloid that has many applications.  Its low viscosity and adhesive properties, make gum arabic an excellent ingredient for strengthening royal icing and making an edible paste to glue your  gum paste figures together.  Mix 2 teaspoons of Gum Arabic with 2 ounces of water to make gum glue. Store tightly covered.
