Decorating Onesie Cookies
Create a variety of adorable Onesie Baby Cookies with just a few items.
We used our Sweet Sugar Cookie recipe and Onesie Cookie Cutter to create the cookies.
Roll out dough 1/8 inch thick
Easy to Decorate:
1. Pink Fondant (we made our own using our Faux Fondant recipe and soft pink americolor gel to color the fondant). You can purchase any fondant pre-colored (sky blue for a baby boy onesie!)
2. Royal Icing - Using meringue powder or egg whites to create your own royal icing (see our recipes). We colored royal icing with deep pink americolor gel color (use sky blue for boy cookies).
3. We used a disposable decorating bag and a #2 tip for our white and deep pink royal icing.
4. Decorating items: Red and pink Heart quins, sugar pearls, mini cookie cutters to cut out shapes, black edible marker to make the sheep face and legs.
Used our Impression Texture Mats to make design along with Crazy Heart shape candy. White royal icing to outline.
Deep Pink color and white for the royal icing design to make lollipop and tutu design.
Rolled out brown fondant (you can use flattend tootsie roll) to create the cupcake liner.
Blue fondant and mini star cutter to make blue star. We made the tutu ruffle by cutting a 6 inch 1/2 inch wide strip and ruffled it. Use dabs of water to stick the tutu to the fondant. We used our impression texture mats to create easy design.
Use a #2 tip to write with royal icing.
Heart Quins and edible sugar pearls make for easy decorating. Use royal icing dabs to allow the pearls and quins to stay in place.
Created ice cream cone with brown fondant (you can use flattened tootie roll).
